The Einstein Factor

The Einstein Factor, co-authored by Win and Richard, is about the findings of the Project Renaissance Program. 25 years of research has led to the creation of the program aimed at developing accelerated learning techniques. The secrets of Einstein are explored by Dr Thomas Harvey. As the authors try to understand Einstein’s thought, Dr Harvey studied Einstein’s brain, which he secretly extracts while conducting his autopsy.

Einstein had a larger number of glial cells and inter connections in his brain than we did. The authors say that ingenious thought occurs in a realm that is completely different from what our conscious mind can comprehend, playing havoc with commonplace notions of time, space, and form. He simply acknowledged the thoughts that came to his mind after suspending the need to understand. He thought of lines of force as rubber bands. This discovery was an audacious mental creation, which we owe chiefly to the fact that Faraday never went to school, and therefore preserved the rare gift of thinking freely. A child has the ability to think. As we grow older, we are taught to distrust our own judgement and rely on experts’ opinions.

In their early life, many of the great scientists and inventors were not very bright. Henri Poincare scored so low in the Binet IQ Test that he was considered to becile. Thomas Edison, who holds a record for his 1093 patents, was slow in school. Albert Einstein was considered a dullard due to his inability to read and speak.

What is the Einstein Factor? According to the authors, the ability for ingenious thought is the mark of genius and they attempt to liberate it through the methods of image streaming, photo reading, free noting and borrowing genius. We see what we expect to see and what we are trained to reject. This is what he meant when he said, most men stumbles over great discoveries. Most of the time, they pick themselves up and walk away. The techniques in this book are aimed at disrupting the mind. The goal is to develop the power of our brain.

The size of the brain and IQ can increase through a stimulation which causes forests of new connections between brain cells in the form of dendrites, axons and glial cells. Scientific studies show that the real measure of genius is the number of connections between neurons. The image streaming technique is meant to reinforce and enhance the connections in the brain and at the same time swamp the squelcher through overloading so that the original perception from the subconscious can enter the conscious mind.

The image is streaming. More than half of our time is spent in passive reception of subconscious imagery through dreaming and daydreaming. To image stream, you relax with closed eyes, and then you describe the image stream that appears to you, either into a tape recorder or a person. The image streamer is doing many activities at the same time. This overloads the conventional attention pathways to the brain. The brain is divided into two hemispheres, the analytical left and the creative right. The messages of the subconscious are able to sneak past the editing defenses and into the conscious mind in this mode. You get answers to questions that you are aware of but which are not important to you.

It is possible to use image streaming to replay an event. The more times you replay, the more information you get.

The person is reading a photo. Today’s skill is technologically obsolete tomorrow as everyone is a constant learner. Those who have mastered the basic skills will be the most competitive workers. The ultimate skill is memory.

We all have photographic memory. The goal is to use the photoreading technique to accelerate learning. It involves looking at the pages before you in a Right Brain activated theta state. The information is given in a sleep state. The authors claim that the contents will be understood. Today’s competitive world requires left-brain skills such as advanced mathematics, vocabulary, jargon, and current information to maintain your market value. You don’t chew or relish the matter.

Borrowed genius. Artificial reincarnation is a method used by a Soviet psychiatrist to make people believe that they have become some great genius in the past. The reincarnated subjects were able to create creations that were superior to what they had produced before. The residual effects left a positive impact on their talents. The Raikov effect is used to improve creativity, but it does not involve hypnotism. The subject puts on a genius and then goes back to himself. He has a positive impact on his creative talents. The success of this method is the result of the ability of the human mind to split into different parts of the same brain. The technique of symbolically borrowing other people’s identities has been used by geniuses for a long time. Disney was considered the reincarnation of great generals of the past.

It’s freenoting. Our need to express ourselves is the same as our need for food or sex. We get clearer insights into the problem when we articulate our thoughts and feelings. By progression on the same line, we can eliminate any inconsistencies of thoughts or ideas on the subject. The Socratic method of education can be used as an accelerated learning strategy. It is possible to brainwash people using this strategy through imperceptibly guiding the subject’s discursion on a lop-sided path to a partial truth. He is convinced of the infallibility of the subject’s views.

Brainstorming, hidden question, and other strategies have been developed by De Bono and others in the field of accelerated learning. Oxygen, stimulating environment and other factors stress the brain. Music, especially Mozart, Gerogian chants, Barouche etc, with beats approximating 60 per minute, is a brain re-charger.

It is not genes that make you a genius. The patterns of thoughts and emotions woven into the mind by the people and events around us are called memes. Religion is one such meme. The aim of the book is to help us not to become a meme-oid, a person so deeply in the grip of a meme that they lose all common sense.

The authors don’t assume that the reason for the effectiveness of these techniques is because of telepathy orclairvoyance. They admit that we don’t understand the magnitude and range of our subliminal perception. Our ideas about reality are limited by the limited range of conscious human perception. This idea is as old as our myths and religions, which tries to explain a larger reality.

The book gives us a lot of information about the strange events that preceded some of the great discoveries like the sewing machine and the theory of relativity. The authors believe that a genius is made. The techniques are described in great detail and are complex enough to require the support of a skilled or interested partner. The theories and hypotheses are supported by conventional psychology. However, methods such as image streaming, borrowed genius etc are bound to raise more skepticism and suspicion than acceptance among the readers. All of us are set thinker.
