Med students are not allowed to start a specialty until they have learned basic human anatomy. It is important to understand a system as a whole before focusing on any one area. The same thing happens with Card Magic. The course consists of six lessons in two parts.

The first six installments of the course will teach you the basics of card magic.

Part 1: Foundation for Miracles

In the first half of the course, you will learn how to combine a deceptive, natural shuffle with forces, reverses, switches and handlings to create a powerful system of card control. The unique details and concepts presented here will more than cover the price of the course.

The system of shuffles. The skills and concepts required to control a selection to any position in the pack will be taught to you. You will learn why performers are most vulnerable during this part of the effect, and what you need to do to make sure you never get challenged at this crucial point in the process.

Handling and essential forces. Every time you perform magic, you will be provided with an arsenal of essential techniques. The effect of your magic depends on the precise methods you use for the spread and dribble. You will find out how paying special attention to these skills is an essential part of your eventual ascension to master level card work.

Construction and fundamental switch. In this show, you will learn how to switch cards right before your audience. You will learn how your powers of controlling, forcing and changing cards can create a variety of powerful effects for your audience.

The reverses are amazing. Powerful methods and amazing effects can be accomplished. There are secret reverses that can do anything. You will be trained to master the essential reverses. You will discover the technique of blocking, a practice which will allow you to take techniques from the practice room, to confident live performance in record time, and achieve superior results.

There are double lifts and turnovers. You will be able to quickly master the most popular sleights in magic thanks to revolutionary techniques. Through a series of simple exercises, you will master the many smaller skills a seamless turnover requires, and you will gain the confidence to execute them in front of any audience. Part 2: Expert Card Technique

Discover how advanced techniques can help you create the most powerful, direct effects you can imagine. I will show you through the complete practice process for an expert level technique. You will see that the mastery of any sleight goes through several distinct phases, and how knowing that fact and using those steps in your practice process makes learning much more effective. You will get new applications in each lesson that you can use to practice your new skills.

The passes are classic and invisible. You can begin your journey to the higher reaches of mastery with a lesson in The Pass. Despite rumors to the contrary, The Pass is still important. You can arm yourself with the most profound technique in card magic if you separate the fact from the fiction. This sleight has a bigger effect on my students than any other sleight.

The pass is called the Gravity Half Pass. It is the most direct, seemingly impossible method for reversing any number of cards. You will learn why this technique is preferred by card experts around the world, and how to make your own rendition invisible under any conditions. You will be armed with stunning applications and effects that demonstrate the power and utility of this technique.

There are masterly feats of palming. There are some of the most challenging and rewarding techniques in card magic. Palming is one of the most useful skills you can learn with cards because it creates effects that are impossible to duplicate. I will show you how to palm any number of cards from either the top or bottom of the deck.

Side and Diagonal Steals. One step further, will show you how to palm any number of cards from any position in the pack. You don’t have to shuffle or control your cards to steal them from the deck, you just take the cards from wherever you find them. I will show you the core details of the palming system I developed over two decades. You will be amazed at the details you discover.

There are advanced switches. You can switch cards in super direct ways. Less process means stronger reactions. We will begin with an in-depth lesson on the Top Change.
