Description

Raising Entrepreneurial Capital

Raising capital for entrepreneurs. The reader is guided through the stages of financing a business. The book proceeds from a basic level of business knowledge if the reader knows how to write a business plan and understands financial statements. It gives a broad summary of the subjects that people typically research, such as How should your company position itself to attract private equity investment? and What steps can you take to improve your company’s marketability?

The second edition of the book places the effects of the global recession in the context of entrepreneurship, as well as the options available to smaller businesses, and the considerations that lead to rapid growth. Other books of the genre are different. Raising capital for entrepreneurs. There are chapters on worldwide variations in forms and availability of pre-seed capital, incubators, and business plans, with case studies from Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific Rim.
